Paul Brothwood's Casio G-Shock Red Lantern: The Perfect Companion to My Suzuki Hayabusa

Image
Every collector has that moment when a piece immediately feels right. That was exactly my reaction when I came across the Casio G-Shock Red Lantern. I wasn't looking for another watch, but its striking red and black colour scheme instantly reminded me of my Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition. For me, it was an easy decision. The Casio G-Shock Red Lantern presented in its distinctive lantern-inspired packaging. Casio has never been afraid to produce limited editions inspired by Japanese culture, and the Red Lantern Series is one of the more distinctive collections in recent years. The design takes inspiration from traditional Japanese lanterns, with the textured red finish, bold graphics and matching presentation box creating a package that stands apart from standard production models. The watch is based on the DW-6900, one of G-Shock's most recognisable designs. Introduced during the mid-1990s, the DW-6900 became famous for its three-eye display, outstanding durability an...

Paul Brothwood Exploring the Clee Hills on His Suzuki Hayabusa

Paul Brothwood spent a summer weekend exploring the Clee Hills and the surrounding Shropshire countryside on his Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition. The route took in quiet country roads, sweeping views and some of the best riding the region has to offer. These original photographs capture both the ride and one of Suzuki's most iconic motorcycles in one of Shropshire's best-known motorcycling destinations. The Clee Hills have become a favourite destination for many riders across the Midlands. The combination of flowing roads, open countryside and ever-changing views makes every visit worthwhile. You do not need to travel hundreds of miles to enjoy a memorable day on two wheels, and this ride was another reminder of that. Paul Brothwood | More Than an Off Road Adventure

Image
Every journey has a moment that captures what it was really about. For me, this photograph is that moment. It was taken shortly after fellow rider and journalist Amelie Schneider suffered a broken foot. The ride paused, everyone stopped to help, and the focus shifted from motorcycles to people. It summed up the spirit of Honda Adventure Roads 2026 better than any finish line photograph ever could. Sometimes the most memorable moments aren't about the riding. Shortly after Amelie Schneider injured her foot, the group stopped to help before continuing through the Pyrenees. It captured the teamwork and support that defined Honda Adventure Roads 2026. When I was selected to join Honda Adventure Roads 2026, I expected an unforgettable ride through the Pyrenees. What I did not expect was how much it would change the way I think about adventure riding. Over three days, I joined 30 riders from across Europe to explore some of the most spectacular mountain trails on the Honda Transalp. We w...
